Super Rusty

Aroma: Stone fruit with hints of chocolate. Colour: Deep mahogany crowned with abundant tan head Flavour: Ample malt character lends itself to a luxuriantly velvet-like palate, finished with a pleasant alcoholic warmth. Super rusty is made with a traditional Belgian abbey yeast - when treated with kindness, it produces peach, apricot and bubble-gum flavoured esters that add complexity to this beer. What on Earth were we thinking? If you've tried our "Rusty" Belgian Pale Ale, you'll recognize that Super Rusty is his older, wiser and more characterful brother. A beautifully complex Belgian style amber ale, we've worked hard to minimise the phenolic flavours often expressed by this style of yeast.
