Extra Pale Ale (XPA)

The Extra Pale Ale is an American adaptation of the English Pale Ale. It is usually lighter in colour, with a pale golden to deep amber appearance.
XPAs usually have a moderate to strong hop aroma, and a citrusy hop character is very common. If dry hopping is used, grassy notes may be added. Carbonation is usually moderate to high, with an overall smooth finish.
