Smoke in your Porter, Braggot in the sky

As porters stand this is an easy-drinking light to medium smoked porter with light honey flavours and aromatics. we decided to use a Smoked Beechwood malt and also to leave the honey unsmoked for now .... You'd think the smoke would hit first however it's a lovely little chocolate note with smoke backing it up along with light floral and fruity esters from the honey and yeast, I really want honey smoked ham now, the smoke is well-balanced with the body and does consume the other flavours, we are extremely happy with how this has turned out.
