The Hollands! are an internationally touring family band based in the US via Australia with a knack for engaging audiences and rousing a sing-a long. They are 21st-century nomadic travelers and frolic in the Americana, Folk revival scene. By the end of their performance, audiences will feel like they are part of the band. *Free Event* Michael Dunstan is a 21 year old Perth-based folk artist, who combines intricate fingerpicking with soulful vocals and upbeat footstomping grooves. Recently releasing his debut EP 'Solace', Michael has been performing throughout WA over the past 12 months, including supporting Ziggy Alberts on his recent tour. The new single "Red Moon" is set to be released mid November prior to the release of the new EP. Supported by his good mate Jordy Maxwell, a lover of the ocean and all things simple. Inspired by some new friends to create and express himself through music, has created a cruisy, oceanic vibe with so much soul & emotion lyrically. Normally barefoot with his best four legged friend Shenz by his side and some stories to tell. The new single "Blue Eyes" is en route for release early November. Billabong brewing is opening their doors for a boogie, beers and laughs! We’ve got an excellent night in store, with local comedy legend Greg Fleet headlining and fellow laugh producer, Kyle Legacy Harnwell, on hand to moderate and MC the festivities! We’ve also got some fantastic music for your ears, featuring bluesy tunes from Dr. John and the Midnight Jammers! The tunes and laughs will be going from 3:30-9.30pm, but we’re open from 3-11! We’ll have one of Perth’s best food trucks on hand, indoor and outdoor bars, all of our delicious and award winning beers (plus some tasty limited edition styles), and wine and non alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Note: Billabong Brewing has very limited parking, and if you’re going to be drinking anyways, we suggest you make alternative arrangements in getting here. Thanksgiving Day can be traced back to the 1621 celebration at the Plymouth Plantation, where the religious refugees from England known popularly as the Pilgrims invited the local Native Americans to a harvest feast after a particularly successful growing season. We Pilgrims at Sunday Creek American Southern Style BBQ and Westside Ale Works would like to invite you to our Thanksgiving harvest lunch/dinner at Westside Ale Works in South Melbourne on Saturday 25th November. It may always be fun and games down at the brewery but this weekend an epic battle kicks off. David, Commander in Chief goes head to head with Lachy Crothers, Head Brewer. We are on the homestretch to releasing our long awaited Ballistic Beer Co Pale Ale! We have narrowed it down to two brews, The Lachy Pale Ale and The David Pale Ale but just need you to decide which one we release. All weekend long we will have voting cards available at the bar where you can test both Pale Ale's and decide which one will become a part of our all star line up. See you there!
