Lets get juicy! 3 RAVENS JUICY IPA In the endless pursuit of hoppiness, we've taken some quite extreme measures (and hops) to create a fresh new take on the intentionally hazy Vermont-style IPA. We've done without crystal malt and boil hops, relying instead on Australian-grown Triticale (a hybrid of wheat and rye) and rolled oats, heavy whirlpool and dry hop additions – including one very generous (and hilariously rule-breaking) dry hop addition at the start of fermentation. A cult line-up of Hallertau Blanc, Moutere, El Dorado and Lemon Drop hops deliver intense aromatics of candied lemon, lime zest, guava, white grape and passionfruit. The inimitable English top-cropping yeast lends peach and apricot esters while transforming the early-dry hop addition into what can only be described as “breakfast juice”. With minimal bitterness and a soft palate courtesy of the protein-rich Triticale and Oats, this is best summed up in one word: Juicy.

That chill in the air means jumper weather is here and our first ever WInter Hop Ale is ready to brave the cold. This season's Red IPA combines warming malt flavours of Anzac biscuit and bready fruitloaf with a full hit of classic American West Coast hop aroma and rich mouthfeel. The Awesome Pie Run make their debut at the Akasha Brewing Co. Tasting Room this weekend! Pie Run is a funky new business putting gourmet quality pies and products on the streets of Sydney and we can't wait to have them - They'll be serving all day Saturday AND Sunday. If that's not enough we'll be pouring the Lupulin Fog New England IIPA this weekend including growler fills. We've reserved one keg only for each day of the weekend and they will not last so be early!

Details June 3 and 4 Adelaide Showground Adelaide will come together on June 3 and 4 to celebrate the lead up to World Environment Day on June 5th. This is the states first Environment Fair and will provide a jam packed weekend filled with exhibitors, speakers, entertainment, food and music. OVER 65 EXHIBITORS Home, garden, sustainable living, biodiversity, food, conservation, water, energy, wildlife displays, children's activities, markets, entertainment, music plus the largest indoor nature play area ever seen in Australia. SPEAKERS There will be headline speakers including Ross Gaurnet talking about the big issues like climate change, speakers presenting on tiny homes and going green and a host of speakers talking on a range of topics from compostable loos to kinky frog behaviour.
