Yes, you heard right. 4Pines and Youth Food Movement are joining forces to save the Galaxy - and food from going to waste. All Padawans and Jedis are invited to join the Alliance at their Brookvale hideout for the ultimate battle between the Jedi and the Dark Side! We're rebelling against recipes and instead with chef Christopher Low (ex Orto Trading co, and Baffi and Mo), we're brewing a creative feast with what we've got. Our ingredients will be sourced from local food heroes like Berkelo bakery, Manly Food Co-op, oFarm Organic Produce, and Balgowlah Community Garden. Yoda Food Movement will also be providing plenty of inspiration on the night to help you channel your food saving force at home - plus some pretty cool prizes too. $35 dues will get you through the vortex...to a brew and a feed unlike any other. Round up your gang, grab your partner and swing on into Bright Brewery for a colourful night of bush dancing, featuring local bush band Squid Jig and dance caller Mark Buckley, which will raise money to support the future of the Bright Autumn Festival. To be held on Thursday 4th May 2017, this special event is a community fundraiser that will help showcase the spectacular Autumn season in beautiful Bright. All ages welcome!

The boys from Feral Brewing Company are coming to shake things up for one week only. All six of our taps will be invaded with nothing but the best brews from West Oz including: Sly Fox - Summer Ale Hop Hog - IPA White - Belgian Style Wheat BFH - Barrel Fermented Pale Ale Knuckles - Coffee Pale Ale Boris - Russian Imperial Stout There will be a special (top secret) menu as well as a chance to MEET THE BREWER on May 3rd. James Young is the owner and booker of the Cherry Bar in AC/DC Lane Melbourne and the CherryRock music festival. Cherry is co-presenting this tour with Young Henrys and James has lots to say about it… “Once every two years I travel from Melbourne, Australia to Seville, Spain to attend the Monkey Music Week Festival in search of the best new live bands in Europe to bring back for my CherryRock street rock n roll festival. In October last year the best two bands I saw were BALA from Spain and Bottlecap from Sweden. So good in fact, that for the first time, with the help of Young Henry’s I’m bringing them to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne for exclusive shows too... “Bala (which means Bullet in Spanish) are a female 2-piece of incredible power. They sound like Patti Smith out front of Motorhead and Kyuss at the same time. There is a massive vibe on Anxela and Violeta from Bala in Europe presently and this debut tour Downunder will also see them playing in Japan. “Bottlecap are a Swedish 3-piece high energy rock act who sound like the bastard triplets of The Hives and The Hellacopters with an added 2017 cheeky grin. Come celebrate our first fresh hop harvest ale as we tap the first keg at NOLA on Thursday 4th May. We will have our head brewer Damo & Stu from Fresh Hop Co-Op to talk all things beer and hop related and shouting a few rounds. About the brew......it's a 6.8% IPA brewed with a generous amount of Maris Otter malt and fresh Chinook cones - kindly provided by FHCA in the Adelaide Hills - and finished with Mosaic & Chinook. We will be also pouring Pale, Stout and version 2 of our Black IPA.
