The team at Boatrocker have been working on something we feel is pretty special for the last few months. It's a little bit sour, a little bit hoppy, a little bit fruity and a whole lot of fun! Introducing JUNGLE JIVE Sour IPA. Jungle Jive is a beer that is definitely its own beast: A dry-hopped kettle sour that strikes a balance between sour, sweet and bitter with juicy, tropical fruit aromas. To share our excitement we are throwing a huge Hawaiian Tiki party with our friends at The Catfish in Fitzroy on Thursday the 13th of April (Good Friday Eve). As well as a brewer's shout of our latest creation, expect a heap of other Boatrocker classics on tap and barrel-aged goodies in the fridge. Haaaappy birthday to us! We're turning 6 and to celebrate we're hosting our very own birthday fiesta bash. We're giving away free Largarita slushies on arrival (t & c's apply), but the icing on the cake of our whole event is our birthday cake- CHICKEN AND WAFFLE CROQUET EN BOUCHE. Oh yeeeah. We brewed up a hazy-as New England IPA with the legends from The Grifter Brewing Company and the boys are coming to Brissie to help us tap it...with a bunch of other Grifter kegs. OLD MONEY is 6.7% hoppy, fruit-juice bomb that will rock out your taste buds. We used a whole bunch of starchy, rolled grains; oats, barely and wheat, to provide a hazy, oily background. This, combined with a triple dry hop of Mosaic and Waimea make this a tropical, fruity, zesty explosion. We're 'simultapping' it at 4pm at both Newstead Brewing Co. and Newstead Brewing Co. alongside SEVEN other Grifter beers.
