Canecutter

Clean, citrus flavours on the palate with light tropical, passionfruit and watermelon aromas. Showcasing great Australian hops with a low bitterness and a crisp, refreshing finish. Post WW2 an influx of immigrants found work on sugarcane farms. In the sweltering sun the cane cutters worked the fields of sugar cane under brutal conditions. Wielding their cane knife they set a rhythm without complaint. The more they cut, the more dollars they earned. Stopping only for a quick slug of water they pressed on, strengthening an industry which Far North Queensland was built on. Here’s cheers to the unnamed canecutters of our region.
