Gary's Darkest Hour

An unfiltered black wheat beer, Gary’s Darkest Hour a dark ale to be enjoyed year-round. An ode to the winter styles of Porters and Stouts but with the lighter mouth-feel of a Belgian Witbier, Gary carries darker spices such as star anise, clove and nutmeg juxtaposed with citrus and mandarin tones on the nose. A slightly higher carbonation results in a mostly dry palate with hunts of chocolate sweetness and roasted coffee, with the mandarin peel pushing through to leave a pleasant, refreshing tang.
