Pilsner

The Illawarra Pilsner is made using Australian Pilsner malt and German Carapils along with Australian grown noble hop varieties Sylva (Southern Saaz) and Helga (Southern Hallertau). Like all our beers it is unfiltered and presents a light straw colour with a subtle malt sweetness on both the nose and palette. The hop characteristics are floral and earthy with slight pine from sawn timber and a smooth bitterness.
