Reserve Amber Ale

Appearance: Our 2015 reserve amber ale is a rich amber colour with red copper hues. The head is very creamy and persistent. Aroma: Rich dark malts rise from the glass with a combination of chocolate, toffee and caramel. The spiced fruit cake character that is typical of topaz combines well with the malt to give earthy and resinous hop character whilst maintaining freshness. Palate: The beer has a lovely malty sweet palate that is framed by persistent yet subtle bitterness. This is a beer full of richness, complexity and balance that will be rewarded by food and careful cellaring over the medium term. Brewer: Andy bear stewart.
