On The Turps
Beer Description

Sometimes, collaborations feel a little inevitable. BentSpoke and Mountain Culture coming together to brew a beer is certainly one of those occasions, with the two indie breweries united by more than beer. For one, there’s the passion for bikes that the founders share (want proof? Just look at BentSpoke’s name) and which is celebrated on the cockatoo riding psychedelic waves on the beer’s artwork.
When it comes to beer, they’re also united by their love for hops and On The Terps collects those flower flavours and takes them further thanks to a terpene blend. Despite using the relatively new beer ingredient, there’s plenty of classic about the black IPA, with pine, grapefruit, and herbal qualities that have long been the hallmark of the once-disputed beer style all present. Having said that, there's quite a juicy touch while the citrus and dank aromas have been turned up to the nth degree, and stick to the palate long after the mix of roasted malt and substantial bitterness has faded.
