Mild

Description

'Mild' beer typically has a low gravity or mildly hopped, usually dark coloured due to the use of well-roasted malts or barley.
Mild has sometimes been referred to as the original session beer, less hopped than bitter styles. Although mild beer saw a decline of popularity in the 1960's, it is beginning to make a comeback, with most mild ales generally based on mild malt or pale malt. They typically remain in the 3-3.6% ABV range.
