Otway Estate Winery and Brewery are proud to host the finale of Shakespeare in the Otways, Romeo and Juliet. The performance will be on November 18 amongst the vines and will start at the romantic time of 6:00pm. There will also be an interval half way through. The Cellar Door will be open from 5:00pm, where pre-show drinks will be available. As a pre-screening optional extra, a Taste and Talk Brewery Tour experience at 5:00pm can be purchased for only $10. Meet the brewer, learn about the brewing process, ingredients used and of course taste. The tour will run for approximately 40 minutes, pending questions. Arepa was the talk of the brewery and we have been so looking forward to bringing them back! Move over taco. Arepa's are the new boss in town ! Arepa is a type of food made of ground maize dough or cooked flour prominent in the cuisine of Columbia and Venezuela It is eaten daily in those countries and can be served with accompaniments such as cheese (cuajada), avocado, or split to make sandwiches. It's that time again when we celebrate the fact we managed to hold on tight enough to our orbiting rock and not slide off that we got all the way around our nuclear reactor in space! Its not that deep really, its our b'day so come on down and get have a few with us. We'll be having some fun kids stuff, tunes, food and generally a good time. We will also be using this to raise funds for the local childcare centre down the road at Seaton. Those guys do amazing work, so come along, have a ball and give to a local community cause as well. Good times and good karma all for you!!!!

Due to our first session selling out and to popular demand, we've added another event session and beer class for this special Summer Lovin Beer Class! Better days are coming, and they’re called Summer! Rejoice as we prepare to ready ourselves and our palates for all the greatness that is an Aussie Summer. To ready you for the season of pool parties, nights on the patio and of course a BBQ', behold our November Beer Class! On Saturday, November 4th we'll be throwing a Summer Lovin' Beer Class, where you’ll get to kick back, relax and enjoy a few cold ones paired with our delicious eats. Our staff and team will throw down some tips on how you can pair food and beer at your own home, and how to best enjoy beers over the summer, plus showcasing a few of our new season summer craft beers! This is our second to last beer class for the year, so be sure to dust off your boardies, and come join us for an amazing 5 courses, some beerducation and a lot of laughs. Tickets for this event tend to sell out way in advance, so be sure to grab your tickets now and come make a day of it!

BULL in the Kitchen are back and joining us this weekend for a mouth-watering pop-up not to be missed! Make sure you get in early for these famous burgers and dogs as they are sure to be a sell out. They'll be here BOTH Saturday (12-8pm) and Sunday (12-6pm). Of course the taps will be flowing with all your favourite independent Akasha beers all weekend, including the American Stout, New England IPA and the new Canada Bay Ale - all available by the glass or take home in a growler.

Morning of the Mo is a grass roots surf competition held in Lennox Head where all entrants sport a Mo, ride a pre 1980s surfboard and rock an outfit relevant to the 70s. Alter egos are encouraged.
