This is an Official Sydney Beer Week Event with Free Entry for all! This festival brings together female brewers, artists, musicians and providores in a Sunday Session at Wayward. Three live bands will rock the stage alongside live art, food trucks and a tap takeover of brewers from across Australia - including a collab brew between local legends Wayward and Young Henrys. Donations on the door will go to the awesome not-for-profit, Women in Hospitality (WOHO). Breweries involved so far included: Young Henrys, Two Birds Brewing, Two Metre Tall, The Sparkke Change Beverage Company; Philter Brewing. Beer Creative and Wheatsheaf Hotel. Food trucks by The Hungry Traveller and Jackalope Food Co.

Join us at Staves Brewery's 'Sydney Beer Week' event as we celebrate the rich tradition of cask-conditioned beer (aka Cask Ale or Real Ale in the UK). We will be tapping three casks from guest breweries along side a few of our own. You may encounter anything from beer emulating British cask ale to something far more new world wuth extra hops or who-knows-what. Your ticket includes 5x 200ml taster tokens. Just $20+BF

Its on again - the sell out Holes 'n' Hops SYDNEY! Thats right - we are taking 9 of our beers across the road to the beautiful beachside Mona Vale Golf Course for a whack in the sun! The day kicks off at the brewery with a pre-game burger & pint, then over to the golf course where a different Modus brew awaits you at each green. The specially crafted Sydney Craft Beer Week beer will be poured on the final hole and then it's back to the brewery where 12 of our beers are on tap, live music will be playing AND the day's winner will be awarded a keg of Modus beer! For $110 you get all of this: a pre-game bite and a pint at the brewery, green fees for 9 holes and a beer at each hole! As part of Sydney Beer Week the first annual Oktoberwest, the Inner West beer fest, is coming to The Factory Theatre on Sunday 22 October for a day of specialty brews, live music, DJs, games, food trucks and more. The Festival will mark the official launch of the Inner West Brewery Association and celebrate the rich culture of Australia’s craft beer capital with a curated line-up of brews from seven of the best breweries in Sydney – Young Henrys, Willie the Boatman, Wayward Brewing Company, The Grifter Brewing Company, Batch Brewing Company, Sauce Brewing Co., and Malt Shovel Brewery. Taking place in the heart of the Inner West, Marrickville’s Factory Theatre will be transformed into the ultimate Beer Garden and Beer Hall, boasting entertainment galore across multiple stages that will keep beer-lovers frothing all day! SheePoll is a live polling show that cheekily explores the morals and opinions of an audience using interactive tech and comedic guests. It alludes to trivia, but there are no right or wrong answers. It features comedians, but not in the traditional ‘standup’ sense. The audience is given a show, but are also completely involved with the content and the outcome. The experience is ridiculous, insightful, social and fun. It’s kind of like a social experiment built into a game show…for a pub. Instead of factual trivia-style questions, our polls explore opinions, morals and other important tidbits like, “Who would win in a fight between an overweight Rove McManus or Rebel Wilson 11 weeks into a Paleo diet?” or “Would you rather teeth for pubic hair or pubic hair for teeth?” We then use wizardry and “science” to see how the majority has ruled and where you fit in. Are you the black sheep, unique and a freak? Or will you leave the show feeling somewhat average? Find out at your local show and discover the real ewe.

This October we’re celebrating 20 years since we first started brewing our Hightail Ale and to celebrate we’re going on tour, throwing parties all across Australia in honour of this milestone birthday. We’re heading west for the final stop on our whirlwind 20th Birthday Tour, taking over Clancy's Fish Pub Fremantle on Sunday 22nd October. It’s all kicking off at 2pm with live music, promotions, bar shouts and giveaways all afternoon. This will also be your first chance to try our 20th Birthday Rare Breed in WA so come and join us as we say cheers to 20 years of Goat beers!
