Our little back street boozer is turning 1 and we're THROWING A PARTY TO CELEBRATE. To pay homage to our pagan roots we're making this a bit of a tribal “thing” – a VIKING PARTY! There will be 11 taps and a handpump pouring the best 3 Ravens has to offer plus SIX different "NEVERMORE" ONE-OFF RELEASE KEGS. You can expect two variations of a never released Imperial Stout (one spiked with coffee roasted on site by Aviary Coffee) and THREE different variations of an experimental, wild rye levain sourdough ale that we’ve brewed with locally foraged flora (including pink peppercorns, wild fennel, rosehip and a variety of citrus fruits). The first 50 people to RSVP will also be greeted with a sacred offering; A glass of an extremely rare beer we recently brewed with our Northern friends Brouhaha Brewery, The Golden Circle. A juicy and damn fruity 7.5% Fruitcup NEIPA brewed with passionfruit, citrus and pineapple. There is literally ONLY 10 Ltrs of this beer available so if you want to try it RSVP QUICK (IT'S FREE!). Tribal percussion and live bands will keep it dark and moody throughout the night and there will be a full smoked bbq menu available to soak it all up. No sacrificing planned at this stage. First horns to be drunk from 5pm. Dress Viking!

Foresters Beer & Barrel Fest is a Free festival that celebrates all things Barrel aged. We’ve hand picked some of the best barrel aged beers and spirits available and invited some of the country’s top breweries and distilleries to create a truly epic celebration of the ancient art of barrel ageing. Brewers and distillers will be on hand throughout the afternoon and evening to give insights and talk to you about their unique offerings. We'll also have a series of informal tastings and talks throughout the event for those that want to get more in depth about the processes but for everyone else the bar will be open serving up some of the best barrel aged creations we could find. Choose your favourite beer and whisky and head to our special boilermaker bar to create your own unique beer and whisky pairing then hang around when the party kicks up a gear later in the night with DJs spinning till the early hours. Adelaide Oval holds no fear for the Eagles ahead of Saturday night's elimination final against the Power. The Eagles have won five of their six games at the venue, including a victory over the Power in round seven this year. However, the Power turned the tables on the Eagles in Perth in round 17. The Power won three straight to end the season, while the Eagles squeezed Melbourne out of the top eight on percentage courtesy of their amazing win over minor premier Adelaide on the last day of the season.
