Kaleidoscope Music presents Mark Olson (The Jayhawks/ Original Harmony Ridge Creekdippers) and Ingunn Ringvold in support of their new album 'Spokeswoman of the Bright Sun', this will see them comprehensively tour Australia playing intimate venues in many cities for the first time. Mark and Ingunn will play the Shambles Brewery in Hobart on Friday 8 September with limited capacity. Tickets available from Moshtix from Wednesday 31 May

After bursting onto the food scene, The Burntends crew will be hijacking the kitchen out here at The Beerfarm for a night of all things low and slow in a true collaberation of beer and beast. In a evening focussed around meat, beer and sharing. This meat feast extravaganza is one not to be missed. The full burnt end will leave no cooking technique unturned and no belly unfilled. It’s a body of work with the power to make a difference. This September, aMBUSH Gallery and Lusid Art illuminate the complex subject of women’s body image, self-confidence and comparison, when one of Australia’s largest female group shows is unveiled; ‘Praise You’, proudly supporting The Butterfly Foundation. The artists have joined forces to educate, inform and challenge the accepted ideas of body image and comparison, by appreciating and empowering all elements of the female form through visual art, to increase awareness of the impact of body image in today’s society. Through the sale of their donated artworks at Praise You, the artists also aim to raise much-needed funds for The Butterfly Foundation, Australia’s leading charity organisation practicing in the prevention, treatment and support of those affected by eating disorders and negative body image, with 100% of art sales and event proceeds donated to the charity. Praise You showcases compelling artworks across several mediums and styles, including collage, illustration, painting, and photography, all of which present female body image in a positive light.
