Hard or soft, blue or white, fresh or aged, Australians love cheese. On platters, on pasta, between slices of bread or slathered on plywood, we just can’t get enough. We're tapping into that love with Mould: A Cheese Festival, a celebration of Australian cheese in partnership with Nick Haddow from Bruny Island Cheese Co. & Bruny Island Beer Co. The best cheesemakers from around the country will showcase their produce at North Melbourne’s Meat Market on September 2nd, offering free tastings, demonstrations and relaxed, super fun masterclasses. As amazing as cheese is, you need balance in your diet. So we've also got Maker & Monger, Harper & Blohm Cheese Shop and plenty more cheese-related but not cheese-only food vendors bringing more of the good stuff. It wouldn't be a Bottle Shop Concepts event without an incredible drinks offering, so of course there'll be wines, whisky, spirits, beers, cider and more. And best part is you get a glass of wine with your ticket price. Plus all the cheese tastings (no tokens!!). Oh, and an actual Plumm glass to keep forever.

After a sold out album launch at Festival of Voices Seth Henderson is returning to Tasmania to perform a free show at the Hobart Brewing Company alongside special guests. Albums available at gigs only - $25

Surly’s is proud to announce our 1st Annual Chicken Wing Eating competition in conjunction with Burton Snowboards & Young Henrys! Heats will be running from 1pm and contestants are required to eat 8 wings & drink a can of Young Henry’s, one handed, as fast as possible! Two winners from each heat will go through to the final round, with the final round being held at 3pm. 1st Prize: A Burton Snowboard valued at $600 2nd Prize: $250 Surly’s Voucher 3rd Prize: A Young Henry’s Growler & T-shirt. Following the release of a single in March, playing at a number of festivals and sharing stages with the likes of The Delta Riggs, Richard Clapton and Toby, Jake Hoskins will release his second EP before hitting the road on a national tour which will see him out soaking up the music scene Australia wide throughout the rest of 2017. The EP has 3 studio tracks and 3 live tracks with a mixture of laid back acoustic roots and quirky blues driven alternative rock.
