From the team behind brewery favourites Pigout, we welcome back Sydney's newest Asian Fusion Foodtruck to the cellar door ! Mr Chans will join us serving up a delectable mix of Asian delights on Fri August 18. Expect Mega Tacos, Korean Philly Cheese Steak and Crispy Fried Chicken ! Mr Chans will be serving from 3.30pm til 7.25pm or until sold out. We will also have a bunch of ales pouring to accompany your meal and a bunch of takeaways available. The City of Ballarat Sports Night presented by Towards Zero TAC, is the ultimate introduction to a huge sporting weekend in Ballarat. With Mars Stadium as the backdrop, footy fans can share an evening with host Craig ‘Hutchy’ Hutchison and some of Australia’s best footy talent, including Liam Pickering, Adam Cooney, Darryl Wakelin, Doug Hawkins, and rising star of the AFLW, Ellie Blackburn. The event will feature an Assistant Coaches segment from the Western Bulldogs and Port Adelaide providing some insight into Ballarat’s very first AFL game. This City of Ballarat Sports Night presented by Towards Zero TAC is a ticketed event that will showcase a locally inspired three-course meal and first drinks from Athletic Club and Dog Rock Winery. Our collaboration 9% Imperial Stout with the legends at Tallboy and Moose finally launches in the Carwyn bar this Friday! Come along from 6pm to try this ridiculously tasty stout as well as 4 other killer beers from the Preston based brewpub, including: 'Double Coolade' double dry-hopped NE IIPA 8.5% 'Cookie Brown' brown ale w/ raisin, cinnamon vanilla 5.5% 'Thingy' super-dry-hopped-brownish-red ale 3.2% 'Wee Heavy' lightly peated 6.7% Actual Tallboy and Moose (that's right; they're real people with real feelings) are rumoured to be about the place so feel free to bail them up. We'll also have some *way sexy* 'Moose Vader' t-shirts for sale during the event. We've also promised to play Pink Floyd all night in the bar. It sets the stout-drinking mood.
