The Deep Dark Forrest - Forrest Brewing Company's celebration to Dark Ales. From one off 'surprise' brews, to locally sourced menu creations paired with delicious beers. Culminating in the DEEP DARK FORREST DEGUSTION DINNER - July 15th. (Bookings essential, stay tuned for details)

Date: 5th of July Time: 7.30pm Brewer vs Distiller A battle to find the perfect match for our chefs creations Plan as it stands; FOOD MENU TO BE RELEASED SOON Head Brewer joins with Bill Bewsher to host a 5 course dinner paired with beer & whiskey. Tickets are $50 and available at The Indi. To Start: Street Beer with Auchentoshan American Oak Single Malt Auchentoshan American Oak: A triple distilled Single malt aged exclusively in first Fill Ex-Bourbon American oak to give this relatively light malt a backbone of creamy coconut and vanilla. Second Course: Barrel Aged Black with Knob Creek Straight Rye Whiskey Knob Creek Rye: An extra aged straight rye whiskey from Kentucky. Rye grain give a deep green spice to this whiskey which in combination with its extended aging yields a level of fruity complexity unheard of in whiskies this price. Third Course: Old Ale with Laphroaig Quarter Cask Single Malt Laphroaig Quarter Cask: The big Bad brother of Laphroaig 10yo. Finished in small 120 litre quarter casks for to increase the interaction between spirit and oak. Layers of smoke and peat intertwine with spicy oak and a dry yet smooth finish. Palate Cleanser/Cheese: Kettle Sour with Auchentoshan Three Wood Auchentoshan Three Wood: Building on the beautiful simplicity of American oak we add both Oloroso and Pedro Ximinez Casks into the aging of three wood. Rich nuttiness and rum and raisin sweetness abound in this delicious end of the evening malt. Dessert: Belgian Dark Strong Ale with Bowmore 15yo Darkest Bowmore 15yo Darkest: With its last 3 years spent in dripping wet oloroso sherry casks this smoky beast is redolent with bitter cacao and dark fruits.

It's that time of the month again where Dr Sous colabs with 3 Ravens to host Question One Trivia! For the week of Independence day we've decided to go all American, with American themed Trivia, American themed Dr Sous food specials, prizes and drink drink drink! New time, same place, get your eat on.

Open Mic Night at The Brewery on the first Thursday of every month. Musicians simply rock up and present yourself to the MC, Glen Van Reason, if you'd like to perform. It is a fun night which gives our young, local musos a chance to perform on stage. We'll feature a different beer every Thursday night, and you can rock in and have a pot on us. Week Four: Our GOLD MEDAL winning Mervyn Pale Ale Come and chat with Brewer Renn about how this beer is made. If you haven't actually seen the brewery before or it's been awhile, our brewers will be around to take you out back for a tour and chat about the process of how the beer is brewed. All on us, there’s no cost. We just want you all to come in and see your local brewery and learn how the beer your drinking is made! Thursday night's MC is one of our spiciest. Nat Damena, the combat sports, russian cinema loving, Karate Kid, hosts Fremantle favourite night of comedy at the Sail and Anchor. Along with some of our factory favourites and first timers. Doors open 7:30pm. Tickets available for $5 online or at the door.

Every Thursday at our place. Quiz Meisters Trivia in South Australia, those absolute legends of the pub quiz, host a unique and very beer-friendly session for all you clever clogs. There's prizes and stuff too!
