Cork & Fork Fest Albury

Cork & Fork Fest Albury hosted by Borambola Wines is a free community event. The festival with be held at Noreuil Park, Albury and everyone is welcome including families, couples and singles. Choose from a variety of delicious food options, while being entertained by musicians and enjoying a glass of Borambola Wine, Tuckerbox hoppy lager beer or apple cider. Bring a picnic blanket or chair and please no BYO food or drinks. EFTPOS available at bar. ENTERTAINMENT - WHAT THE FUNK? Formed in 2016 and inspired by a love of music that makes you want to dance, WHAT THE FUNK? are Wagga's newest 6 piece band. Their music is fun, infectious and energetic and will make you want to dance and groove. WHAT THE FUNK? are fronted by one of Wagga's most talented and energetic vocalists Leah Ellis. She is joined by a formidable rhythm section - Bass Extraordinaire Damian Evans, Guitar Legend Sean Reardon (of Mighty Yak fame) and our awesome Drummer Simeon Broadbent who has precision and killer beats to match. To top it off they have not 1 but 2 saxophone players creating a kickass horn section of Melanie Evans and Anna Lucas. With repertoire that stretches from old school soul, funk and Motown (think Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Parliament, Curtis Mayfield) to contemporary tunes from artists like Amy Winehouse, Chilli Peppers and many more, WHAT THE FUNK? are all about fun, grooves and dancing!
