After another big night of laughs, Powerbomb Comedyis back at The Staves this Friday, with Luke Heggie headlining a monster line-up. Luke Heggie is fast becoming one of Australia’s most in demand stand-up comedians. After winning RAW Comedy in 2010, Luke was hand-picked to be part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s 2011 prestigious Comedy Zone showcase and has had audiences all around the country in stitches with his dry style. In 2012 he was named Time Out Sydney’s Best Comedian and won the Director’s Choice Award in the 2015 Sydney Comedy Festival for his show You’re Not Special. Our MC for the evening in Suren Jayemanne. Chosen as a FRESH artist at the 2015 Sydney Comedy Festival and cherry-picked to be part of the 2014 Melbourne international Comedy Festival’s Comedy Zone showcase, Suren is the perfect comic to steer the evening.
