Affligem

It was back in the 11th Century, in the year 1074, when a group of six Belgian knights laid down their arms in exchange for monks' robes. Under the adage Felix Concordia (Happy in Harmony),the knights built the Abbey of Affligem. Affligem is one of the 22 still-existing abbey beers in Belgium.
