101 Brewery (The Fam Hotel)

Craft Beers and Beautiful Food The Fam Pirie was built in 1904 by a gentleman named Barrington J. Knight, and become know as the Family Hotel. Over the years the hotel has seen over 100 years history pass through it’s doors, becoming part of the National Trust, and an icon in the Port Pirie community. Brewing it’s own ale, the tradition of craft beers being sold on the premises was established early in it’s history, a tradition that is carried on today within the The Fam Pirie. Dale and Linda have not only lovingly restored the hotel, but have kept the essence and heritage of the hotel intact. Drawing on it’s long and proud history, Dale and Linda are making sure that the community spirit that the hotel signifies is retained and enhanced.
