Frank Boon suggested the Old Kriek Bean according to traditional cooking methods. Old Kriek Bean is prepared by fermenting sour cherries (crisps) to 1 year old Lambiek. 400 grams of cricket per liter and ripening on oak barrels are required to obtain this special beer.
