The Wedge Tail American IPA

  • Beer Description

    Sow & Piglets
This American Indian Pale Ale is associated with the American Craft Beer Revolution. In the 19th century this type of beer was heavily hopped to allow to be transported it over long distances. It was the intention to dilute the beer but as you would agree the taste was superb and the beer was sold as it is. Story behind the name: Like the majestic wedge tail eagle, Australia’s largest bird of prey that soars in the skies of the Shipwreck Coast, this American Pale Ale is a majestic species - not to be taken lightly!…and that’s where it ended up.
