Stout

The summer months have moved on and winter is well and truly upon us. When the short, cold and rainy days draw you indoors, you search for something rich and warming to keep your spirits up. Previously there were three options: lighting a fire - which requires what could be described as at least moderate levels of work; cooking a hearty stew - also a fine option, but so very time consuming without adequate planning; and lastly cutting open a horse, nuding up and sleeping inside the hollowed out carcass - ala Leonardo Dicaprio in the Revenant. Here a Pirate Life we decided that none of the above really tickled the old fancy. The call was made to find something easier, something quicker, something which requires less horse entrails. The answer: Pirate Life Stout.
