Moby Dick Ambergris Ale

Our newest limited release is a very special ale made with a very special ingredient: ambergris – commonly, and somewhat mistakenly, known as ‘whale vomit’. This ale was brewed as a festival beer for the GABS 2016 beer festival. It is an imperial amber ale infused with ambergris. Moby Dick Ambergris Ale 7.4% a/v. The result is a pungent, animalistic aroma, musky ethereal perfume, full body, caramel malt and fruity flavours, very balanced bitterness.
