Whiskey
Description
While all whiskey is made from distiller's beer, it has only been in recent times that distillers are using actual beer as the foundation for experimental whiskeys. The wash - the result of fermentation - is usually between 7-10% ABV and while it's technically drinkable, the taste is not desirable. While the wash would then be used, nowadays finished beers are being experimented as the starting point for distillation.
