Belgo

A Belgo is an American beer that uses a Belgian strain of yeast. Traditionally, there are two main categories of Belgo 'Pale American Belgo-Style Ale' and 'Dark American Belgo-Style Ale'.
These beers are usually of dark colours - deep amber browns to black. The flavour should differ from traditional Belgian style ales, with notes of banana, berry, apple and sometimes spice or smoky characters.
