Wheat Beer

Wheat beers are made with a large proportion of wheat compared to malted barley, and are usually top fermented. They are tend to be cloudy in appearance and have a thick head. Distinct flavours that come through are banana and cloves, although hints of other fruits and spices may be present. The two main varieties are Weissbier and Witbier, each of which have variants.
