Pale

Description

Pale lagers are an evolution of the pilsner style, discovered in the mid 1800's when Gabriel Sedlmayr applied pale ale brewing techniques to existing lagering brewing methods. The result was pale coloured, lean and stable beers.
Pale lagers are typically light to medium bodied with a negligible to low hop character. Flavour can vary greatly between pale lagers, and many use non-malt adjunct such as rice or corn.
