Bitter beer is a British Pale Ale that can have a great variety of strength, flavor and appearance. It typically varies in colour from gold to dark amber.
Originating from brewers who wanted alternatives from other mild brews, Bitter has pale malts and more hops and are light-bodied with low carbonation. While traditionally served cask conditioned, many breweries now have bottled versions.
