Gueuze

Gueuze is a blend of young and old Lambic ales. The ales are blended, then bottled and aged for 2-3 years. The result is a more intense version of a Lambic, which lacks hop character and is more fruity and dry. Many people consider it harsh due to the sourness. Gueuze is sometimes filtered and force carbonated, and even pasteurised.
