Gose
Description
Gose is a German unfiltered sour wheat beer originating in the town of Goslar early in the 16th Century. it is made with 50-60% malted wheat and the fermentation process is is followed by adding lactic acid bacteria, resulting in a sharp refreshing sourness and a cloudy haze. It also develops a yeast character due to residual fermentation even after bottling. Other additives include low amounts of salt and coriander lending to saltiness and herbal characteristics.
