Fruit / Vegetable

This is a type of flavoured beer made by adding whole fruit or vegetables, but it is common to use an extract or syrup to achieve the fruit or vegetable taste. To enable the fruit or vegetable flavour to stand out there will usually be low hop bitterness and little malt flavour. Generally this will be an unbalanced ale which does not have much ale character.
