Doppelbock
Description
A Doppelbock is a stronger version of the malty German Bock lager ("Doppel" means "double"). Not only does it have a higher alcohol content, but it is also darker and more full-bodied than a standard Bock. Doppelbocks have little bitterness and can range from dark amber to almost black in colour, with the darker varieties having a hint of a chocolate or roasted flavour.
