Biere De Garde

Biere de Garde originates in the North of France and literally means "beer for keeping". Different versions exist so the colour can range between light brown and golden to copper/red. They have a toasted malt aroma and a medium hop bitterness, with a slight malty sweetness. There will usually be some yeast character.
